THERAPIST

Lindy Cook, MA, LLPC
Hi! I’m Lindy Cook. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling from Eastern Michigan University in 2023. For the past ten years, I have worked in education. I served as a special education teacher and currently serve as a middle school counselor. My professional experience includes working with school-aged children, adolescents, and adults in both individual and group settings.
As a counselor, I strive to provide clients with a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space to explore their strengths, beliefs, values, and goals. I believe that growth is possible at any stage of life. Seeking support during times of transition or life changing moments such as relationship difficulties, education or career concerns, coping with the challenges of parenting, or dealing with the loss of a loved one can increase an individual’s overall satisfaction and quality of life through the therapeutic process.
My approach to counseling draws from cognitive-behavioral and whole person-centered therapies. I believe in personalizing counseling to best meet the unique needs of each individual. During our time together, we will develop goals and a plan of care to improve your well being and reach your full potential.
