People often ask why I’ve chosen to focus my practice on women’s mental health and
reproductive mental health. The answer is simple: this work is both professionally
meaningful and deeply personal.
I’m excited to share that I recently earned my Reproductive Mental Health Specialist
Certificate, further expanding my knowledge and training to better support women and
couples navigating the emotional impact of reproductive health challenges.
Throughout my career as a therapist, I’ve been passionate about helping people
through life’s most difficult moments. Over time, I found myself drawn to working with
women facing infertility, pregnancy loss, hysterectomy, perimenopause, menopause,
fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS, PMDD, and the emotional effects of medical trauma.
These experiences often affect much more than physical health—they can influence
identity, relationships, self-esteem, and emotional well-being.
This transition is also deeply personal. My own journey with fibroids, infertility,
hysterectomy, and the medical trauma that often accompanies infertility has profoundly
shaped both my life and my work. Like many women, I know what it feels like to leave
medical appointments feeling unheard, dismissed, or unseen. I understand the
emotional toll of advocating for yourself when you’re already carrying so much, and I
know how isolating that experience can be.
While every woman’s story is different, these experiences have given me a unique
perspective and a deep sense of empathy for the women and couples I serve. My goal
is to create a space where you feel heard, validated, and supported—because I know
how powerful it can be when someone truly listens.
I also recognize that infertility and pregnancy loss affect more than one person. That’s
why I’m honored to support couples as they navigate grief, strengthen communication,
and support one another through the emotional challenges these experiences can bring.
As I continue to grow professionally, my goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-
based care that helps women and couples feel heard, supported, and empowered.
Whether you’re coping with infertility, recovering from hysterectomy, managing a
reproductive health condition, healing from medical trauma, or adjusting to
perimenopause or menopause, I want you to know you don’t have to navigate these
experiences alone.
Thank you to everyone who has trusted me to be part of your journey. I look forward to
continuing to serve women and couples with compassion, understanding, and
specialized care in this new chapter of my practice.
